Being Happy is not easy for most of us. And for too many, it’s off somewhere in the future.
“I’ll be happy when ….”
“I’ll be happy if ….”
Sound familiar? Sure, I’ve been there lots of times. But in the past year, especially the past few months, I’ve been really making a conscious effort to be happy.
It has a lot to do with being grateful. It has a lot to do with having faith in what I am doing.
It has a lot to do with having a burning desire, an incredible goal. And faith and gratitude are the attitudes to have to achieve the goals that I have.
In my video, I talk about this and also remind you about what I’ve tried to teach you in the last few weeks about disappointments and decision-making. I also tell you a little story about what I’ve been up against. Watch it. Repetition is good for you.
The main points in the video include:
- The mind is everything.
- Have a goal, which lights you up, which lights up your brain.
- Have faith that you can achieve it.
- Stop negativity as soon as you feel it. That includes self-doubt.
- Make decisions.
- Avoid disappointments.
The advice from weeks ago all come hand in hand. If you’re missing parts, you will succumb to negativity and negativity, when it becomes a steady state of mind will harm your brain and it will harm your body and also the mind.
You can’t escape the mind-body connection. It’s what makes you YOU.

And it literally is millions! The CDC says between 1.6 and 3.8 million Americans suffer from concussions every year and these are only emergency room statistics. They think these numbers of CONSERVATIVE because a lot of people don’t seek medical attention. I also think a lot of people aren’t aware of a head injury.
The shocking news I found out is that there is NO evidence that total complete cognitive and physical rest works for concussion. Your doctors, including most neurologists are WRONG! No clinical study has shown effectiveness. In fact the research, for both children and adults have shown too much rest actually makes things worse!
So tired of or skeptical of this harmful advice? Let’s do something about it. My crowdfunding campaign is a pilot research project for online brain training specifically designed for Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS). I never believed that a do-nothing approach was remotely a good idea and now there’s proof. NOW let’s actually create comprehensive treatment to give kids, teenagers and adults and their parents, coaches, etc hope and tools to reclaim their lives!
Let’s give Hope For Millions With Brain Injury. Donate today. Share with your friends! Be part of a movement for healing not merely management of Post Concussion Syndrome!
