Stop making excuses and get on with your life! I realized this week the difference between those who accept my offer to help them and those who refuse that help.
Those who accept my offer are WILLING. Yes, the others NEED my help but they’re not willing to give themselves the gift. For what ever reason, it could be low self-worth, the feeling they don’t deserve what’s best for them, anger at themselves. Maybe they can’t let go of a crutch… In the end, they are excuses and excuses always lead to NOWHERE better.

You have to know where you’re going. You have to make a decision.
I’ve got a goal. I made a decision. I’m going after it. I am going to conduct this pilot research project for Hope For Millions With Brain Injury because it’s important. Out of the almost 4700 studies about concussion, I found only 13 studies that qualify under my definition of treatment (actually helping people to overcome their post concussion syndrome (PCS).) I found studies which lament the lack of viable treatments. I found a few studies that ask for more studies about the psychological part of PCS.
That’s all my work is really about, the psychological part of PCS. Because when that is put right then the person will feel it. The brain gets retrained and rewired – for the better. My work with people has been proven successful clinically. So now all I want to do is to find out whether my healing methodology works in an online course.
In the end, we have to stop focusing the problem, your problem. You have to focus on the solution. And NOT be afraid of it. You prolong suffering as long as you wish to stay the same.
You’ll heal only if you grow as a person. Nothing more, nothing less.
It’s your time! No more excuses. Can you do what you’re supposed to do?

And it literally is millions! The CDC says between 1.6 and 3.8 million Americans suffer from concussions every year and these are only emergency room statistics. They think these numbers of CONSERVATIVE because a lot of people don’t seek medical attention. I also think a lot of people aren’t aware of a head injury.
It doesn’t include accidents, work accidents and motor vehicle accidents. There really are millions out there.
Now I’m hearing that between 20 – 65% of people with a concussion have prolonged symptoms. What comes next may be the reason this is happening!
The shocking news I found out is that there is NO evidence that total complete cognitive and physical rest works for concussion. Your doctors, including most neurologists are WRONG! No clinical study has shown effectiveness. In fact the research, for both children and adults have shown too much rest actually makes things worse!
So tired of or skeptical of this harmful advice? Let’s do something about it. My crowdfunding campaign is a pilot research project for online brain training specifically designed for Post Concussion Syndrome (PCS). I never believed that a do-nothing approach was remotely a good idea and now there’s proof. NOW let’s actually create comprehensive treatment to give kids, teenagers and adults and their parents, coaches, etc hope and tools to reclaim their lives!
