Sometimes the best decision you make doesn’t stick. I just got back from Jamaica. As you may know I am conducting a crowdfunding campaign right NOW for a pilot research project called, “The Effect of Online Brain Training on Post Concussion Syndrome.” I chose Experiment.com as my crowdfunding platform because it’s really the only one that specializes on scientific and medical research.
Well, the bad news is that Experiment.com felt uncomfortable with my research methods – even though I am mirroring practices that other researchers in the brain injury arena are using in their research projects. I made the changes that they asked me to make even when I was on vacation and with an iffy internet connection to boot! Then I waited a couple of days for their approval. But I never heard from them again!
Until Tuesday morning after I came home when I took the bull by the horns and sent emails to all the emails I could find at Experiment.com. I finally received their answer with not very convincing reasons.
As I listened, I made the best decision I could. I decided to move on. I decided NOT to get upset. I was launching this crowdfunding campaign on Thursday, November 24, 2016. I now had to find another crowdfunding platform and FAST! Luckily they offered to help me with this and pointed me in the right direction plus they gave me the full script of my research proposal. This saved me a lot of time.
So here is my crowdfunding campaign at GoFundMe: Online Brain Training For PCS
I could have decided to quit. That was NOT an option. Only losers quit! I am NOT a loser.
So watch the video about making the best decision that you can make about the things that matter most to you:
To summarize, you need to have courage to make the best decision you can about the most important things that matter to you. Those are the things that agonize people. Here’s some help for you. If you answer these questions honestly you’ll know you’ve made the best decision possible. That’s because it’s a win-win-win scenario – for you, for others and for the universe! Also, it’s important to pay attention to how you feel after you’ve made the decision. You’ll feel relieved or really good about it.
Bottom line, if you’re upset and otherwise bothered by a “decision” you’ve made, then you really haven’t made the right decision YET. That’s why you got to watch the video because these four questions will make a HUGE difference in your decision making!
GoFundMe is an international crowdfunding platform, so it looks at your postal code to determine which currency to use.
I am excited and inspired by this research project. I’m excited by the possibilities. My hope is that the course that comes out of the research will be a huge stepping stone towards wellness for the research subjects as well as for the thousands who will later benefit! Please donate to my crowdfunding project!
Please donate and help people recover from their brain injuries! There are no other protocols that contain concrete steps like mine to Return-to-Play or Return-to-Learn or Return-to-Life, for that matter. The brain training is the key and in particular the brain training that melds modern neuroplasticity with Classical Chinese Medicine. I already have inquiries from people who want to participate as subjects. If there is no funding, there is no research!
And when you donate, I’ll be keeping you informed of our progress with the research program. Let’s DO it!
