No matter what time of the year it is. But let’s start practicing it every day. I had to learn what it meant the hard way. I didn’t realize what I was doing. I was so ungrateful and it really hurt me. Here’s what happened.

Everyday from now on, whether you do it every morning when you get up or at night before going to sleep or even when you require a pick up and reminder during the day, I want you to write down as many things as you can that you feel grateful for that happened to you during the day. Express gratitude for it. You can choose anything from your day. You can be grateful for the great meeting you had. You can be grateful for your talents and gifts. You can be grateful for something that happened that gave you a new perspective. Anything!
Write down, “I am grateful for …” or ” I am so grateful for …” Follow all your gratitude sentences with this:
“Thank You and Thank You and Thank you! It is Done!”
Whatever happened to you today was good, even if it was painful, embarrassing, fantastic, surprising. Anything and all things. Turn this into a habit and turn it into an attitude, a feeling that stays with you all day long.
Feel better about your life. Because, you know what, life really isn’t so bad – you really do have lots to be grateful for. Quit focusing on the bad things. Put them into perspective. Every single day. Express your gratitude!
