Adapt! That’s the call I’m making.

Changing seasons – adapt
The tree is my favourite symbol. It is the perfect example for adaptability. Autumn comes. The leaves fall. The tree is still alive all winter long. It maintains life. In the spring, there is renewal and the leaves literally spring forward. In the summer, it thrives.
The tree is just one example of how nature handles change.
Without a LOT of noise! No fuss. No bother. No stress here! Perfect.
Adapting is being flexible.
It’s being resilient.
They predicted snow Tuesday night, just some snow showers overnight. It turned out to be a lot more than that as you’ll see!

Surprises are always going to happen. Whatever happens outside of us is going to happen. We have no control over what happens outside of us. You only see a negative if you want to see a negative. It’s a choice.
I spoke with a neighbour who was also outside shoveling his driveway, across the street. Other neighbours walked by and thanked me for clearing the side walk as they made their way to the bus stop down the street. It was nice.
Complaining and blaming are futile activities and only causes you to feel bad, which is what stress is. Stress is something that can happen several times a day, if you let it.
You’re much better off to adapt as much as you can. But I’m not saying you have to perfect. But you can be more aware about how you feel about something before you react to a situation.
Look for the good behind every situation.
Remember, adapt! You’ll be far healthier this way.
Have an awesome day.
