Stop fighting yourself!
Whenever you’re feeling turmoil, it’s disrupting your health in some way. It’s easy to dismiss how angry or frustrated or afraid or shameful you feel.
But you’ve got to ask “Why?” and then “How do I stop this?” Give yourself some quiet time alone when you ask yourself these questions. The answers may astound you.
Are you where you want to be, right now in your life? Is this where you dreamed to be when you were a kid?
True prevention of disease starts first with acknowledging how you feel. Please don’t tell me you’re happy, when you’re not feeling good. You’re not just lying to me. More importantly, you’re lying to yourself.
The problem with that, is, you might get angry with someone and leave the room, but you CAN’T run away from yourself. Wherever you go, there you are…
So what is it that you want out of life? What would make you happy? Again, it’s not what would make someone else happy, but what would make you happy? And why aren’t you doing it?
Answering these questions is just the beginning of your journey to well being.
