Often the emotional states of sadness, grief, shame, and guilt can turn into anger and frustration. Actually that would be a GOOD thing, because anger can GIVE you energy!
That’s right. You may’ve been taught that showing anger is a bad thing. I wouldn’t be surprised. Many people repress and suppress their anger – they don’t like what has happened in their lives.
When repressed or suppressed, you also stop living! So if you’ve felt angry for a very long time, it’s time to turn it into something POSITIVE. Because that’s the funny nature of anger. It can be a negative and destructive force or it can give you the energy to take action on something that’s bugged you for a very long time.
It can help you to make a decision. It can help you to take action. To do and can do. It’s all part of emotional intelligence. You need to explore it.
