In part 1 I talked about how anger can affect the menstrual cycle and what to do about it. Many women are worriers and experience anxiety. These prolonged negative emotions can make the period arrive later and also cause pain. They could possibly shorten the period and make the blood flow scanty.
Please go back to part 1 about the basic lesson for what you have control over.
Next explore what you can do about your worries. You have to become aware of what they are exactly and then decide if they’re REAL or NOT.
Do this simple exercise:
Make a list of the things that you worry about.
After listing them, go to each one and ask yourself, “What proof do I have that this will happen?” If you can’t come up with something, write down, “None”.
If you do come up with something, then think about it. Your mission is to find a way to deal with the situation. Brainstorm. Then write down your ideas.
Now for each item on your worry list that truly is a concern, give yourself a REAL deadline and work on the solutions that you just came up with and DO them until they’re no longer an issue. You either eliminate them because they’re phantoms or you do something about them instead of stewing over them!
