Balding is a big issue with men. Here are a few well known myths about why people go bald.
Myth #1: Male balding is due to the mother carrying the genesfor balding.
Not true; we now know that the balding genes canbe passed down from Mom or Dad. But looking at Mom or Dadstill won’t give you a clue as to whether you’ll go bald or not.
Myth #2: Wearing hats causes balding.
Not true; wearing hats does not cut off circulation to the hair follicles.
Myth #3: Long hair weakens the hair.
Not true; the weight of long hair does not cause hair to fall out. Guys often cut their hair short and they’re the ones who are balding.
Normally, hair grows at different rates, depending upon the overall health of the person. It also falls out at different rates, but on average it can fall out at the rate of 100 hairs each day. People with blonde hair have more hairs on their heads, followed by redheads and brunettes. Blonde hair is often very fine in texture. The darker the hair, the coarser and thicker each hair strand.
