Here are our values at Extraordinary Sports Medicine. They include the following values and beliefs:
We believe in mental fitness because mental health is everything. If you are fit mentally then you know what’s right for you. You will not indulge in doing things or eating foods that harm you. Instead you make the choices that make you happy and healthy – in mind, body and spirit.
We believe in being honest with you because we believe in your abilities and in our abilities to help you.
“If you treat an individual as he is, he will remain how he is. But if you treat him as if he were what he ought to be and could be, he will become what he ought to be and could be.”
~ Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
We believe that children must be raised to have real self confidence based on the evidence they get about themselves when they are adventurous, risk-taking and curious.
We believe in the value of sport in terms of life lessons that can be gained from such participation.
We believe in work ethic, stick-to-itiveness and outside-of-the-box thinking. Creativity is the zest in life and leads to good things.
We believe in the complete confidentiality of our patients unless otherwise instructed with expressed permission.
We believe in a greater role in life that transcends pettiness but lifts the spirits.
We believe in the successful execution of your goals related to sport and to life because you cannot separate who you are from what you do. Experience and live life that is successful and satisfying, inside and outside of sport.
We believe in getting you back on the field of play as soon as possible AND also ensuring that you live a happy healthy life long after you leave your beloved sports career.
We believe in outside-of-the-box thinking, exploration, innovation and possibility thinking going forward in medicine.

Why do sinews and ligaments tear?
Why so muscles tear?
Why do bones break?
Why do joints stop functioning properly?
Why do some people get concussions and others don’t?
Why do some people have multiple concussions and others don’t?
Why do some people get leg injuries while others don’t? Etc.
What weakens the body and the brain when you’re already doing everything PHYSICAL to assure strength?
Is it a mystery?
No. There are no mysteries if we dive into deeper analysis of the injury (or disease). We can no longer keep doing the same things over and over with little predictable results.
You want predictable outcomes.
For the brain and the body.
We must deal with the DIRECT effects of stress, what to do about stress, why there is no such thing as good stress, the connection between stress and deterioration of self-confidence and self-esteem, the connection between stress and how it weakens both the body and the brain, concussions, post concussion syndrome, the effect of mental fitness on injury recovery, high performance and peak performance.
